Taking veggie plate to a whole new level

I navigated downed trees, closed roads and malfunctioning traffic lights to get to this vegetable plate at Watershed today. Those big butterbeans, rutabegas, collards, fried cauliflower, roasted tomato, corn muffin.

  1. i want to know MUCH more about the fried cauliflower!

When the server said fried cauliflower was on the veggie plate, I almost ordered something else for once. This is the first fried vegetable I’ve ever loved (besides french fries, of course). It was really perfectly done — barely breaded on the outside — maybe flour and corn meal? — and still very firm on the inside.
