Verse for lovers, prose for ruffians, songs for clowns

“My words fly up, my thoughts remain below: Words without thoughts never to heaven go.” (Hamlet)

Practice up today, y’all, because tomorrow, April 23, is  “Talk Like Shakespeare Day.”

Someone in Chicago (probably not the folks who brought us “International Talk Like a Pirate Dayhas put up a great Web site.  Check it out >

When you’re finished romping about there, go ahead and buy your summer tickets to Georgia Shakespeare, or check out what’s coming to the Shakespeare Tavern. Chicago’s got nothing on Atlanta in this department. How lucky are we to have two great — but very different — Shakespeare venues?
