    I think this same snake, or his relative, was in our yard last week! I’ve got pics of Aubrey holding it. Making his way around the ‘hood, isn’t he?

    when I was looking for a link to a photo of kingsnakes, I came across a message board that says it’s a big year for snakes in Georgia. This is a pretty one, but watch out for copperheads down there by the creek. I also read that kingsnakes eat other snakes, so maybe Aubrey’s pet is consuming the bad ones.

    Snake update: Nat caught this snake in the road again yesterday, and good boy that he is, released it into the woods behind the house after he played with it for a while. Maybe it will get used to being off pavement now.
