Another one bites the dust

After Friday, Atlanta will have one fewer meat-n-3, this one the victim of the 14th-Street bridge rebuild.

John Kessler says “Bobby and June’s — the breakfast mainstay in West Midtown — will close after more than 30 years in business. Owner Bobby Crowe told the AJC’s Rhonda Cook that the demolition and reconstruction of the 14th Street bridge took its toll on the restaurant’s fortunes.”

I may try to get over there tomorrow for a veggie plate, which have been reliably good the times I’ve been there.

Read in the news today that the publicity increased business, and they are going to remain open. The cynical part in me wonders if they made the announcement to increase sales.
