Christmas and Elvis just go together.
From my new favorite blog, Pecanne Log. Which features just recently a photo of the Kimball house, a 1968 Mrs. Georgia pageant, a 1991 video drive up Peachtree from south of town/Whitehall, a Grady High student’s 1974 video report on noise pollution in our fair city, old Z93 commercials…can’t wait to see what the archives have in store for me.
We’ll be watching the Ten Thousand Points of Light movie next holiday season.

Letter to yourself
Call your mama, find out the street address where you grew up, be sure you’re using Google Chrome, and check this out. Every now and again someone shows us a new way to experience the Interwebs that makes us gasp just a little bit. This one integrates the user’s personal history with social networking, animation and a great tune.

VeggieMorphs
Dontcha just love the Daily Mail? I mean, these are the things we really care about, our real kitchen-table issues. I’ve seen eggplants that look like accidental dongs and plenty of pears that made my kids giggle about ample women’s behinds.
Shoot, I’ll be there’s a blog out there that chronicles them. If not, let’s start one. How ’bout VeggieMorphs for a title?

Happy Days gets some color
I know all I every do is post video these days, but this mash-up of Jackson-5esque Motown, hip-hop mentality and groovy graphics makes me very happy. (Warning: Explicit Lyrics)
